I have been a fans of X-Men since the first movie in the year 2000 so, I always follow their movies. Including the newest one, X-men: Apocalypse. I really admire Stan Lee for all his comics creation. I mean, how in the heck he manage to create all different type of characters...is so amazing! I told him to my nieces who also loves watching movies as I think she and other younger generations should know a bit about him. And nowadays is not so hard as long as you pay attention, Stan Lee always appear in all Marvel's movies including this one.

The story is about the oldest and the very first mutant live on earth: Apocalypse who has been treated and worshipped as god. Whenever he turn old, he takes the body of another mutant and automatically takes the power. Oscar Isaac which you must remember his acting in Star Wars is unrecognizable here as Apocalypse. After being buried for thousand of years, Apocalypse decided that he should bring death and destructions and will lead those survivors in the new world. Survivors probably means other mutants as I don't think human can handle his wrath.

Like human, there are obviously many mutants here living on earth trying to hide their identity. Human, with all their limitations will get vicious to something or someone with power that they can't understand. That is how Apocalypse manage to recruit Magneto (Michael Fassbender) and promosing powers to the other three: Storm (Alexandra Shipp), Angel (Ben Hardy) and Psylocke (Olivia Munn). And they manage to kidnap Charlex Xavier (James McAvoy) and planning to use his body and absorb his power as well. So, is up to old flame of Charles: Moira McTaggert (Rose Byrne), Mystique (Jennifer Lawrence), Beast (Nicholas Hoult), Quick Silver (Evan Peters), Jean Grey (Sansa Stark erh I mean Sophie Turner) and Cyclops (Tye Sheridan) to face off with Apocalypse. And no thanks to Wolverine (Hugh Jackman) who appears for a short time then run. Again. 

There are so many characters with unfortunate short back story because well, there won't be enough time to explain about them all. Especially to those who never read the comic books and sort of need an explanation. Why they are like that and so on. I never read the comic books but I enjoyed the story as I always like to imagine how is it feel to have powers like that. But having the power, like being said so many times in superheroes movies means having a big responsibility. You have to know when to control it and when to let it out with everything you have.

If you like fantasy movies then you don't want to miss this one ^_^
